On the atelier shelves wait over 1,000 cloths — pieces chosen personally from Italian and English mills with more than a century of history. Vitale Barberis Canonico since 1663. Fox Brothers since 1772. Piacenza since 1733. Loro Piana since 1924.

Two fittings, never rushed.
Between the first mark on the cloth and the finished suit, two intermediate fittings. At the first, the suit is a skeleton of cloth pinned with paper tacks. The master adjusts the shoulder line, the jacket length, the waist.
At the second, the 14,000 hand stitches of the interior begin to take shape. Here the posture is drawn. Here the garment begins to breathe.
